My Wine Story

With over 20 years experience in the meetings, incentives, conferences and events industry, good wine is often at the heart of what I do. I realised that I wanted to learn more about the principal grape varieties, the regions in which they are grown and the styles of wine that they produce. But, with a busy working and family life, I never managed to make the time. However, during the first national lockdown of 2020, when our industry literally fell apart, I decided to grasp the opportunity, studied hard and achieved a distinction in the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines. I loved it so much I'm now about to start level 3.

With my large global network of venues and destination management companies worldwide along with a deep passion for wine and people, I realised that I could help connect the wine to the people and the people to the wine. Hence Grape Connections was born!
